Workshops demand a lot of energy from everyone involved, and everyone will have different base levels of comfort, focus, and stamina for that kind of collaborative work. While the facilitator is ultimately responsible for keeping participants engaged and focused, a skilled co-facilitator can make a big difference to the experience of both participants and facilitators.
