Why public sector strategic planning is different
Many of the frameworks for strategic planning—and much of the related literature—come from private sector settings. It’s no wonder these strategic planning approaches aren’t a perfect fit for the public sector setting. In this video, we briefly discuss how publicly funded organisations differ from private sector organisations in ways that affect the nature of their strategic plans and strategic planning process.
