virtual facilitation: crossing the line together
As facilitators, we need to end our virtual workshop on a high, so the goodwill and energy continue even after the participants sign out. But ending on a high is more difficult for virtual workshops, because participants can't linger in the room, or chat and network with colleagues on their way out, so they don’t have the physical and social cues that help extend enthusiasm, insight, and camaraderie beyond the end of the workshop. In this video, we explore how to end virtual workshops in a way that brings everyone over the finish line together.
